By registering to participate on the Dream MS network, you agree to the rules and conditions set out below and all future modifications.

- Failure to abide by the Terms of Use will result in a permanent ban, unless stated otherwise and approved in a ban appeal.
- You are entitled to one ban appeal which may reverse or shorten the ban.
1.1 Discrimination, Harassment, Bullying - No player should be subject to unequal treatment on the basis of their race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and/or age. Any form of unprovoked toxic behaviour will not be tolerated.
Offense punishment: temporary in-game mute -> 7 day ban -> permanent ban.
1.2 Staff Members - You are expected to treat staff members with respect. You acknowledge that this is a free-to-play platform where staff have dedicated their time to assist and provide you with support. Any form of defamation which degrades a staff member's image or reputation will not be tolerated.
1.3 Staff Impersonation - Under no circumstances should you pretend to be or speak on behalf of the staff team. This includes spreading of false information regarding server features and it's development.
Offense punishment: warning -> permanent ban.
1.4 Advertising - Advertising of other private servers on the Dream MS network is strictly prohibited. This includes in-game, discord and our forum.

1.5 Voting - You are allowed to vote once per account per day. You understand that voting is a privilege - not an entitlement. It is up to you to complete the voting process successfully in order to receive rewards. GTOP has absolute decision over the success of a vote and that the server will not compensate for any failed votes.
1.6 Ban Appeals - If you have been banned, you have the right to appeal your ban. You must lodge the ban appeal within 7 days of the ban notice. Once a ban appeal has been formally denied, you lose the right to lodge subsequent appeals and can no longer participate on the Dream MS network. You are not permitted to attempt to play on other accounts while you are appealing a ban.
Game Rules
2.1 Account Sharing - Account sharing is permitted at the player's own risk. You understand the risks involved, therefore cannot request for retrieval of items and/or mesos in the event of a dispute or theft. If a player is banned with connection to the shared account, the shared account will also be banned.
2.2 Hacking - Hacking of any kind is strictly forbidden. Hacking refers to the use of the use of third party software to gain an advantage over other players, restrict other players from the server or to attack our infrastructure. This also includes the use of packet sniffers and any attempt to manipulate packets.
2.3 Key-weighting, Macros - Key-weighting, scripting and use of third-party macros is classified as botting and is prohibited. Key-weighting refers to the placement of an object on a button(s) to engage with your character. If you are found to be inattentive and fail to respond for some considerable time then you will be presumed to be engaged in this activity.
Offense punishment: depending on the severity, the punishment may be reduced to a 7 day ban.
2.4 Bug Abuse - Bug abuse refers to knowingly exploit an aspect of the game which exhibits unusual behaviour. You are expected to report any game-breaking bugs to a staff member.
2.5 Map Ownership - The map ownership system prevents 'kill-stealing' and allows for players to take control of a map and not allow other players to attack.
Abuse of this system where you are are not able to kill the monsters due to being under-leveled or lack of damage (eg. holding a map with an unfunded character that would take a significant time to kill) is prohibited. It is forbidden to refuse other players access to area bosses without actively killing the area boss for any purpose. Holding a map in an attempt to sell access to a map is also prohibited.

2.6 Scamming - Players taking part in a current/possible transaction are to do so with honesty. Any verbal agreement relating to the transaction of items and/or mesos must be actioned if the transaction has begun (eg. player has paid mesos for Scissors of Karma to trade a Zakum Helmet). The act of false bidding to disrupt bidding or gain an advantage in a transaction is also prohibited.
Offense punishment: 7 day ban -> permanent ban.
2.7 Dream Points - By choosing to support us, we assume that all of the information you provide is rightfully yours. All purchases are final upon being process. You agree not to claim for a chargeback/refund. You acknowledge that you are not entitled to a refund in the event of a ban.
2.8 Real Money Trading - RMT refers to any transaction between players involving real world currencies for in-game items, mesos and/or NX. You are prohibited from advertising or engaging in these activities.
2.9 Rollbacks - In the event of a server deadlock or unexpected crash, you acknowledge that you are not entitled to any form of compensation. Our developers are working hard to provide a stable and smooth experience for everyone. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
3.0 Multi-clienting - You are permitted to open more than 1 client simultaneously with the exception of:
- You are not permitted to multi-client in a single or multiple PQs (excluding Guild and Balrog PQ) simultaneously
- You are not permitted to multi-client in a single or multiple expeditions simultaneously
- You are not permitted to multi-client in multiple instances of mini dungeons simultaneously
- You are allowed to partipcate in a PQ whilst in an expedition and/or mini dungeon

3.1 Account Security - It is your responsibility to protect your account with strong credentials. The server will not provide compensation in the event your account is compromised.
- Do not use the same credentials from other MapleStory private servers (especially if you had a MapleRoyals account prior to Feb 9th 2021 when they suffered from an extensive brute force attack and thousands of account credentials were exposed)
- Be mindful of who you share your account with
- If you are sharing specific accounts with other players, do not use identical or similar credentials
- Your password and PIC should include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. Upon logging into our website, you will be receive an alert if your credentials are weak and prone to compromise
